On February 24, 1966, the National Liberation Council (NLC) overthrew Ghana’s first president, Kwame Nkrumah and the Conventions People’s Party (CPP) in a military coup d’état while he was on a peace mission in Hanoi the capital of Vietnam at the invitation of the president, Ho Chi Minh to resolve the Vietnam War.
This was and still is a major blow to us as Africans. It marked our retrogression and only God can help us recover from this GREAT LOSS.
It is on this backdrop that, I condemn all the so called revolutions of this country. I personally see them as needless and time wasting. We lost so many people, resources and time to fighting what we did not even know how is was.
For instance, corruption has always been used as cover to stage these ‘needless’ coups but let’s ask ourselves are the military leaders who took up the country by force clean? Were they safe from corruption? Were they able to conquer the cancer?
Brothers and sisters, be wary and be cautious of people who may want to disrupt the peace we have enjoyed since 1992.
Ghana DO NOT need any revolution to correct our wrongs. Do not be misled by anyone for any reason.
We can only transform our beloved COUNTRY by changing our mindsets and accepting the fact that we have no where than GHANA, our homeland.

In our contemporary society today, when issues concerning love is raised, there is a lot of comments and agitations that is made. Issues about love is discussed day in and day out, but there are still one challenge or the other that people are still facing in their relationship.
Valentine’s day has been tagged as a day of an expression of love. In this short article, I would like to draw the attention of all and sundry to what to know before falling in love with someone or before proposing love to others. Many a time, you will hear a whole lot of people pass comments like “I curse the day I met you, I regret accepting your proposal and just to mention but a few other threatening comments.
This is as a result of the fact that, they fell in love with the wrong people and either accepted the proposal of the wrong person and propose to the wrong person. Issues concerning love shouldn’t be taken likely. It must be treated with all seriousness and attention. Don’t rush to propose love to someone, don’t rush to fall in love with someone and don’t he too quick propose love to someone. Love is not a game, its a virtue. It must be cherished and given the right attention.
Love isn’t about how beautiful or handsome you think the guy or lady you think you are in love with. What if the beauty or handsomeness fades away.
Many a time, people keep saying “We’ve break up, we are no more dating etc”. Does that mean that they don’t love each other again? Love is not a solution to be tested or tried. The fact that no man has ever propose to you before does not mean that whoever comes to propose to you, you should accept the proposal. That is an error.
Its the greatest mistake to love based on time and age. It is not took late to be loved. When your time of love is due, you can’t avoid it. But don’t rush into relationships. Are relationships really suppose to last? Yes they are. They are not meant to be broken. Don’t fall in love today and fall out of love tomorrow.
So, the question is, What do you have to know before falling in love, or what should you know before proposing love to someone or before accepting love proposals from people.
Many a time some people think that they are late in life in regards to love matters. Love does not have a time limit and frame. At any particular point in time, you can be loved. You might have made the wrong choice by accepting that guys proposal but that doesn’t mean you are useless. Most of the people who propose love to others don’t really mean love, they mean sex. You must know the difference between Love and Lust.
A rapper recently passed a comment which was very true. He said “Do you know why there is so much pain and bitterness in marriages today? It is because 90% of women don’t marry who they love, but they marry who is ready”.
Probably, you might be a victim of this statement. Maybe you wanted your friends or colleagues to know that you are also having a boy friend or girl friend, so you never considered love in accepting proposal but readiness. Because he professed he loves you doesn’t mean he or she loves you. Love is both a noun and verb.
Don’t Joke with matters regarding love, or else you may end up killing yourself or committing a crime you would have never committed.
So what must you know before you fall in love or before you propose love or accept love proposal from others. I want us to take a Scripture from 1Corinthians 13:1-8. A careful study of this verse will enlighten you about things to know about love. Below are some things you must know before you fall in love with someone.
Love is Patient
Love is Kind
Love is not envious
Love does not boast
Love is not proud
Love does not dishonor others
Love is not self seeking
Love is not easily angered
Love does not keep records of wrong
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth
Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres
LOVE NEVER FAILS
Are you surprised to see these things? I know some will, others may not, but whatever the situation maybe these are some things you must get yourself abreast with before you
Fall in love with someone
Propose Love to someone
Accept Love proposal from someone.
The greatest of a the 12 listed above is LOVE NEVER FAILS OR ENDS. So you cant fall in love and fall out of love at another point in time.
So before you tell that boy or girl to break up with you, remember that, TRUE LOVE NEVER ENDS OR FAILS.
Enjoy your Valentine, but tie these virtues around your neck and move along with them daily in your relationships and marriage. Love is a virtue, don’t play games with love.
