Despite the fear and panic caused by the corona virus I would like to urge all and sundry to stand with me and other institutional women’s commissioners as we campaign to spread calm and not fear. Let’s adopt preventive measures and even if we get infected there’s still hope that we will recover Record has shown that there are more recovery rates than death. Therefore let’s all be calm and abide by the various safety measures put out there by the health authorities. The best way to fight this is by treating everyone around you as if they are infected and treat yourself the same I think this would help raise our alertness Wash hands, sanitize regularly and maintain the right social distances.
I am Queen Hauwa the national women’s commissioner for the teacher trainees association of Ghana and I stand with all teacher trainees

The 2019/2020 TTAG-ASHBA leadership led by Hon. Bediako Isaiah has not sat aloof since their inauguration into office. The first action taken by this leadership was to sensitize the teacher trainees( 2019/2020 freshers) in the 13 colleges within the sector on the activities of TTAG, and also welcomed them into college.
The leadership did not end there, but in their quest to put smile on the faces of the dejected and afflicted inmates, donated to the inmates at Sunyani central prisons. Inculcating leadership qualities and skills was one of the visions to be brought into reality by this leadership. With this, the leadership organized a leadership seminar at Offinso College which saw enormous impact from well endowed speakers to the trainees who came for the program.
On 14th March, 2020, the leadership has planned to organize a FINANCIAL, AND MANAGEMENT LITERACY WORKSHOP under the theme” Ensuring the Acquisition of Skills and Aptitude ; a Necessity for Effective Leadership and Management”. The leadership saw that, in order to reach today’s youth leaders specifically Teacher Trainees, it is crucial to provide interactive and fun experience that gives students the basic building block of financial literacy and auditing, secretarial and communication skills. This in a long run will help to eliminate costly misunderstandings and foster team work to ensure better administration.
On the aspect of finances, the leadership aims at eradicating overwhelming complex financial decisions especially auditing that are faced by the local TTAG Executives within the sector.
Some people will regard the secretary as an individual who may not require any particular form of training. Contrary to this belief, the secretary forms an integral part of the workforce of an association or organization. They ensure that everything in an organization or association works in the best possible way and in the most efficient manner. In all these cases, secretariat training remains imperative for people of all different educational background to reach to a certain level.
Good communication skills are vital to strengthen relationship and build team work. Good communication does not come naturally to most people. During this interactive workshop, participants will learn the secret of communication, delivering positive and negative feed back, dealing with difficult people, building personal credibility, and more.
The leadership invite all the general public, and the ex- officials in the association to this educative workshop at Al- Faruq College of education, Wenchi.
