DESPITE THE CHALLENGES WE FACED, WE ARE GRATEFUL TO GOD FOR 2019

With a heart full of recondite and profound gratitude to the almighty God for the hurdles and obstacles we stamped down as well the failures and their accompanying lessons learnt throughout the 365 days of the year. We are sincerely grateful to Him.

Today marks the end of the year on the Gregorian calendar. It is named after Pope Gregory XIII, who introduced it in October 1582.

They’re different types of calendar used worldwide. The Islamic calendar is an example. In it for instance, today is 5th Jumada I 1441 AH.

Yes! The world is so diverse in many ways. That’s why we must all learn to accept and accommodate diversity wherever we find ourselves on the planet.

The year 2019 reigned with limitless goodness of God and potentialities. It also renewed our hopes and spirits. Summarily, it was an impactful and an awesome year.

However, it has also left behind with me a painful experience of losing someone I loved so much and grew up to cherish in my life. A terrible reality that I am still struggling to deal with and hard to accept.

We laughed, we cheered up, lost loved ones and made both successful and failed strides but we did not forget to learn the lessons and look forward with renewed hope and unflinching desire to succeed.

Happy New Year to everyone. May the New Year bring to you good fortune, good health and prosperity.

God knows best!
